Will I receive a final bill for the balance on my student account?

Bills from the Business Office will be available online after 5:00 p.m. on May 5, 2023. This bill will include charges from April 1 to May 5, 2023. Any outstanding bills must be paid in order to receive your cap and gown. The Business Office will be open for business in the Lamade Gym on Friday, May 12, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to noon and in Long Hall from 12:00 pm to 4:30 p.m. Lycoming College does not accept in-person e-check and credit card payments. Students can pay online by logging into LycoAdvisor Self-Service and their Authorized payers can pay online by going to www.lycoming.edu/business-office. Although paying electronically is the preferred bill payment method, the Business Office will accept paper checks and cash during Senior check-in. However, the Business Office will not be able to cash personal checks after May 5, 2023. 

Can I participate in the Commencement ceremony if I owe a balance?

In order to participate in Commencement and for your diploma and transcripts to be released, any outstanding bills must be paid, including fines, Lambda Chi Alpha and Women of Lycoming loans, residence hall charges, campus store charges, etc.

What is Senior Check-in?

Senior Check-in will be located in the Lamade Gymnasium. Seniors may pick up their caps, gowns, hoods, and keys for the residence hall. The Business Office will be available to receive payments for remaining bills.  

Can I write a check to pay for my outstanding balance during Senior check-in?

Yes. Please do not mail checks. Bring your payment to the Business Office or for your convenience, pay prior to senior check-in online with an e-Check, VISA, Mastercard, Discover or American Express through LycoAdvisor Self-Service.

What if I am late for Senior Check-in?

Late Arrivals may:

  • pick up caps and gowns and sign the wooden “23” class numbers at the Registrar’s Office in Long Hall until 4:00 p.m. on Friday and between 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday
  • pick up room keys in the Office of Public Safety.
  • If you owe a balance on your student account, cash or checks will be accepted at the Cashier window in Long Hall until 4:30 pm on Friday, May 12, 2023 or payment can be made online with an eCheck, VISA, Mastercard, Discover or American Express.

Can I cash a check during Senior Check-in?

Check cashing will be unavailable after May 5, 2023.
