When speaking of the Lycoming College football program, the superlatives come easy. The facts behind them may be just as impressive – 14 Middle Atlantic Conference titles, 12 trips to the NCAA Division III playoffs and two appearances in the national championship game. During the last 40 years, the Warriors have won more than 71 percent of their games, compiling an impressive record of 282-113-5.
A school with such a long and proud history has no shortage of legends. Coach Frank Girardi, who finished his career in 2007 with nearly 260 wins during his 36-year career at Lycoming, is just one link in a chain that features 55 All-Americans and numerous all-conference performers.
To build upon that success, Lycoming has upgraded its football stadium by replacing the grass playing surface with new state-of-the-art field turf. Be a part of the growing legacy by supporting the The Drive for Field Turf.
