Since the institution's inception in 1812, a number of extraordinary people have provided critical leadership necessary for the institution's continued development and growth.
What is the 1812 Society?
The 1812 Society recognizes the dedication of a special group of current leaders at Lycoming College. Alumni, parents and friends who join the 1812 Society demonstrate their commitment to preserving a strong future for Lycoming students. The 1812 Society acknowledges donors who make gifts of $1,000 or more to any fund or funds during the fiscal year (July 1st - June 30th).
What are the benefits of joining the 1812 Society?
Membership in this leadership society has benefits such as an invitation to the President's Dinner at Homecoming and special recognition in the annual President's Report. The biggest benefit is the satisfaction of knowing that your gift makes a difference to the lives of the current students at Lycoming.
