EasyBib

EasyBib is a web-based citation management software and note-taking program. It is designed for undergraduates and has many educational tools built into it. Come find out how this tool can help your students take organized notes, create outlines, and learn more about the research process. You will find out how EasyBib can facilitate your ability to monitor their progress. Snowden Super Search

Snowden Library is pleased to offer Snowden Super Search, a “Discovery Service” from EBSCO that brings most of our electronic databases (including the catalog!) into one place. Come learn when to choose or recommend this tool over subject-specific databases, how Super Search can facilitate cross-disciplinary research, and some tips and tricks for efficiently searching so many resources at once.  (For more information on this workshop please e-mail Mary at broussm@lycoming.edu)

Bring more specific and complicated questions in order to make informed decisions for your courses. We’ll also provide tips on helpful resources available to you. Where Do My Students Keep Finding this Garbage?!

Do your students frequently resort to citing online sources of questionable quality?  This workshop is designed to help faculty articulate resource expectations so that students learn to evaluate all sources for quality, resulting in better research quality and fewer headaches for faculty.  (For more information on this workshop please e-mail Alison at gregory@lycoming.edu)
