WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - As part of the department of athletics' rebranding initiative, Lycoming College will unveil its new mascot during the Homecoming parade before the Warriors' football game with Albright College on Saturday, Oct. 26, at David Person Field. The parade is scheduled to roll into Shangraw Athletic Complex around 1 p.m. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m.
The new mascot will proudly represent the Warriors during athletic events and other campus activities.
An internal committee comprised of athletics administrators, students, faculty and staff members, and alumni met numerous times to develop the new visual identity, which was launched in August. The new mascot becomes the final member of a family of logos and wordmarks developed by the Joe Bosack Design Group.
