Fall 2008 Steering Committee appointed and holds preliminary meetings.
January 2009 Self Study theme and organization of Self Study finalized.
January 2009 Assemble assessment and institutional documents for Steering Committee and Working Groups.
February 2009 Self Study Design Document available for campus review and input.
February 2009 Working Groups begin to meet.
March 24, 2009 Middle States liaison visits campus to discuss progress of Self Study. Dr. Debra Klinman, vice president, is Lycoming's Middle States liaison.
April/May 2009 Self Study Design Document revised and submitted to Middle States.
July 2009 Middle States notified President Douthat that the Self Study Design Document is approved.
Fall 2009 Working Groups continue their work and begin to outline and draft their chapters.
December 18, 2009 Working Group Interim Reports due.
January 2010 Visiting Team Chair selected and visits campus.
April 30, 2010 Working Group chapter drafts are due.
Summer 2010 Self Study Document reviewed and revised by Steering Committee.
August 30, 2010 Self Study Document shared with campus community for feedback.
September 10, 2010 Self Study Question and Answer session - 3:00 to 4:00 PM, 3rd Fl. Wertz
September 13, 2010 Dr. Margaret Drugovich, president of Hartwich College and Chair of the Visiting Team, visits campus to meet with Dr. Douthat and Steering Committee.
September 13, 2010 Self Study Question and Answer session   4:00 to 5:00 PM, 3rd Fl. Wertz
September 14, 2010 Self Study Question and Answer session - 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM, 3rd Fl. Wertz
September 20, 2010 Self Study presented to Faculty Meeting for approval.
October 8-9, 2010 Self Study presented to Board of Trustees for approval.
November 2010 Revise and finalize Self Study document based on feedback from community and board of trustees.
December 2010 Submit final Self Study document to Visiting Team Committee and Middle States.
March 27-30, 2011 Visiting Team comes to Lycoming College for 3-4 day visit. Team Report issued that reacts to the Self Study and Lycoming's performance relative to the 14 Middle States standards.
June 2011 Middle States Commissioners vote on Visiting Team's report and Lycoming's reaccreditation.
