Executive Assistant at MTV Network in New York City

I now spend my days working with Directors Guild of America, working with crew members on many popular shows on stations such as MTV, MTV2, MTVU, VH1, Comedy Central, TV Land, Spike, CMT and Logo.

It’s a busy job and one Inever imagined I’d be doing when I was working in the television studio on the Lycoming College campus. Now, I hope to hone my writing skills and use my industry connections to make my next dream a reality: screenwriting.

You’ve got to have the skills and experience necessary for the job, but it helps to know someone with an ‘in.’ You need to have a wide network of contacts who know and trust your abilities, and then prove your determination to make it in this cutthroat industry by going beyond what you're asked to do.
