Veterinarian, Linden, Pa.

I always knew that I wanted to be a veterinarian. In choosing a college, I was simply looking for the best situation to get me to my end goal. Lycoming was the perfect stepping stone. It was a smaller, homier environment and I thought I would do better here than at a larger facility. I also looked into the acceptance rate into medical school and it was comparable or better than other private schools.

I was accepted into Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine and although I have a small animal practice in Linden, I consult in Indiana, Ohio, Maryland and New York.

I'm proud of what I've done and that a small school such as Lycoming has been able to facilitate my career. I felt very secure when I went to Cornell. I'm also proud to come back and share with Lycoming students who may wonder if they made the right college choice. I am able to say yes, I think they did.
