Tracie Witter
Business Administration: Adjunct Professor
Professor Tracie Witter received her BA from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA and is currently enrolled in an MBA program with the University of St. Francis. Her face is not entirely new to the Lycoming College community as she began her career here as an Admissions Counselor. After spending two years at Lycoming, she worked for the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce and for the past fifteen years, at Susquehanna Health. At the three hospital Health System, she has worked in the Marketing/Corporate Communications department transitioning from a staff level role to director. Over the years she has launched the System's first web site, was one of the architect's of the organizations intranet site, taught courses through the Health System's "Health Improve University", implemented a new System logo and graphic standards manual and received two state awards from the Hospital Association of PA for the Health System's magazine and a public education campaign on the warning signs of stroke. Currently she is he official spokesperson for Susquehanna Health and has received professional media training. She has been on television, radio and in print related to various Health System news stories.
Insider info: While at Dickinson, Professor Witter spent a year in Toulouse France speaking nothing but French. Here she took classes with other French students at the University and lived with a French family. She loves winter (downhill and cross country skier!) and enjoys backpacking, canoeing and making hand built and wheel thrown pottery in her home studio. Above all, she likes to spend time playing with her two young girls, Erin and Ally and engineer husband, Alex.
