<title>Alumnus elected to U.S. House of Representatives  </title>

&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. &amp;ndash; Lycoming College alumnus and Republican Tom Marino has been elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from the Pennsylvania 10th Congressional District. Marino joins 12 other Lycoming alumni who have served in Congress.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;A native of Williamsport, Marino graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor&amp;rsquo;s degree in &lt;a href="http://www.lycoming.edu/PoliticalScience/index.html"&gt;political science&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="http://www.lycoming.edu/education/"&gt;education&lt;/a&gt; from Lycoming in 1985. He earned a law degree from the Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, Pa., and began his career with the law firm of McNerney, Page, Vanderlin &amp;amp; Hall in Williamsport.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Marino served as Lycoming County&amp;rsquo;s District Attorney 1992 to 2002, when he was selected to serve as a United States Attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. He then went to work as a business law attorney for DeNaples Management, a Northeast Pennsylvania company. Marino resigned that position in December 2009 to concentrate on seeking the 10th Congressional seat.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Marino and his wife, Edie, have two children, and reside outside Williamsport in Lycoming County.&lt;/p&gt;
