Always be alert to your surroundings.
Avoid conversations with strangers. Do not approach strangers or allow them to get close to you.
If you think someone is following you, switch directions. Go toward a safe location.
If someone tries to rob you, don’t resist.
Always walk with a friend or friends. There is safety in numbers.
Stay in well lighted areas; avoid dark locations.
Stay in familiar areas. Avoid walking or riding in areas in which you are not familiar.
Report suspicious activities, behavior or people immediately to safety and security at (570) 321-4064 or 4911.
Use the campus escort service. Do not hesitate to contact safety and security at (570) 321-4064 when an escort is desired.
The safety and security office is on duty 24/7, 365 days a year to assist you.
