Note: Originally from New Jersey, Harry J. Magonigal entered the Pennsylvania Institution for the Instruction of the Blind in 1890.  As a blind blind gospel singer and evangelist, he traveled about holding meetings in the 1920’s and 1930’s. He served in the Central Pennsylvania Conference as a local pastor.  It appears that the first Magonigal marriage ended in divorce, and that Linda Long Magonigal married a Mr. Rufus Adkins in 1909.

Wilbur Fiske Meminger, a renowned  lay pastor and evangelist in the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination who is the subject of the biography  "The Little Man from Chicago."  Mrs. Meminger is the daughter of James Watts (1782-1856) of the Baltimore Conference, and three of her sisters also married Methodist pastors.
