Assistant Professor of Psychology
April Drumm-Hewitt earned her Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from Binghamton University (State University of New York). She has expertise in learning and memory, embodied cognition, psycholinguistics, and particularly in the cognitive processing of written discourse. Most recently, she has conducted research on how punctuation is understood to convey meaning in text messaging. Drumm-Hewitt joined the psychology faculty at Lycoming College in August 2021.
