Clinical Supervisor
Fischer is a native of Williamsport. She joined the education department in the fall of 2022. She comes to Lycoming with 38 years of teaching. Her teaching career began in the parochial school system, here in Williamsport, and culminated in the Williamsport Area School District. In the spring of 2022, Fischer retired from her teaching career, spending her years teaching within the primary grades.
Carol is a graduate of Lock Haven University, with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and a minor in psychology. She earned a master’s degree, in curriculum and instruction, from Bloomsburg University. Carol served as a literacy collaborative coach in the Williamsport Area School District, after earning a literacy certificate from Ohio State University.
Carol is excited to continue her career with Lycoming College, supervising student teachers and guiding them on the path to become the best educators. It’s an exciting time to watch them grow.
