Books
Books that the Snowden Library owns can be found in the Online Catalog.
Books in the Snowden Library are arranged by call numbers, according to the Library of Congress Classification System.
Books that Snowden does not own can still be retrieved through E-ZBorrow or Interlibrary Loan and can be identified using a database called WorldCat.
Do not forget Reference Books when you are beginning the research process. See the Reference Portal for more information.
Journals
To find articles on your topic, go to a relevant database and search using relevant keywords.
Once you have identified an article you want, use the "Does Snowden have this article" link in the databases or use the Periodicals A-to-Z List to search for the journal by name.
If Periodicals A to Z says we have the issue of the journal you are looking for in the Snowden Collection, that means it is with the journals on the 2nd floor. All journals are arranged alphabetically by title.
If we have the issue electronically, you will be able to click on the name of the database in Periodicals A to Z, and access the article by date.
If Periodicals A to Z says we have the recent issues in the Periodical Browsing Collection, you will find it on the first floor of the library, along the outside of the Art Gallery.
