Lycoming College alumnus Glenn Klages ’79, will return to his alma mater on Thursday, Oct. 7, where he will speak about his position and experiences at The Honest Company as the next Harding Executive Speaker. The talk begins at 7 p.m. in Lycoming College’s Academic Center, room D-001, and is free and open to the public.
Since April 2018, Klages has served as executive vice president for The Honest Company, an American consumer goods company founded by actress Jessica Alba that makes clean and sustainable products, where he oversees supply chain and operations. He was part of the senior leadership team that led the company through its initial public offering on the Nasdaq in May.
Klages brings more than 40 years expertise in forecasting, planning, operations, manufacturing, quality, customer service, distribution & transportation in direct, retail and wholesale channels to The Honest Company, as well as a record of building value-added collaborative relationships with suppliers and customers. He has a demonstrated capability in the facilitation and execution of new product launches, and possesses a proven ability to develop and execute strategies, build architecture and teams that improve performance and drive growth.
Prior to his current position, he served as chief operations officer at Arbonne International LLC, where he led the operations team on matters related to demand planning, procurement, and logistics. He also previously held senior supply chain roles at Philosophy, Inc., Carter’s, and Bath & Body Works, LLC.
Klages holds a master’s in business administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Lycoming College. While at Lycoming, he was a member of both the swimming and tennis teams, a Sol "Woody" Wolfe award winner, and a member of Theta Chi. He currently serves Lycoming College as a member of the President’s Leadership Council.

Harding, a 1938 graduate of Lycoming College and an executive with Kemper Insurance. As the result of a grant from the James S. Kemper foundation to endow the series, students have the opportunity to meet and network with some of America's top business executives from numerous internationally-recognized companies and firms.
