Lycoming College is one of the nation's best colleges for students seeking a great education with excellent career preparation at an affordable price, according to The Princeton Review. Lycoming earned one of the country’s highest ROI (Return on Investment) rankings from The Princeton Review for its top marks in academic offerings, career placement services, cost/financial aid, graduation rates, and student debt, as well as alumni salary levels and job satisfaction.
Lycoming College provides a diverse student body with a top-tier liberal arts and sciences education built for the 21st century. Students graduate with an enhanced academic experience, including internships, study abroad, and undergraduate research; class sizes are small with a student-to-faculty ratio of just 11:1; and 85 percent of students receive need-based financial aid, keeping costs affordable.
“Attaining a college degree is one of the most important investments students and families will make. This recognition demonstrates the exceptional return on investment that students receive as a result of their Lycoming education,” said Mike Konopski, vice president for enrollment at Lycoming College. “Our inclusion as a Princeton Review Best Value College confirms our strategy to provide a premier undergraduate education that equips students for successful lives and careers.”
The Princeton Review gave Lycoming College an ROI rating score of 86. In the Princeton Review survey, Lycoming students commented that “faculty and administration work hard to customize the...college experience to each student’s needs,” and that the school offers “great opportunities to do hands-on research with your professors” as well as excellent “undergraduate internship...[and] study abroad opportunities.”
“The schools we chose as our Best Value Colleges for 2022 are a select group: They comprise only about 7 percent of the nation’s four-year undergraduate institutions,” said Rob Franek, editor-in-chief of The Princeton Review. “We commend their administrators, faculties, staff, and alumni for all they are doing to educate their students and guide them to success in their careers. These colleges are also exceptional for the generous amount of financial aid they award to students with need and/or for their comparatively low cost of attendance.”
For five consecutive years, Lycoming College has been included in The Princeton Review’s “Best Colleges” premier college guide book, which provides students with a comprehensive look at the nation’s best colleges, featuring in-depth profiles and student-driven details that help students find their best college fit.
