Lycoming College and the Lycoming County Counselors Association (LCCA) are excited to welcome local high school students and their families to "College Night" on Tuesday, Sept. 17, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Keiper Recreation Center on the Lycoming College campus. This annual event provides a fantastic opportunity for students to engage with representatives from more than 50 colleges and universities, helping them explore their options and discover the perfect fit. The event is free and open to everyone.

Representatives from institutions across Pennsylvania and neighboring states, as well as military branches, will be present to discuss their academic programs, scholarship opportunities, and various internship and research experiences. Registration fees from participating institutions contribute to scholarships awarded to students from every school district in Lycoming County.

"For more than 30 years, this has been the perfect place for students and their families to get their questions answered about entrance requirements, the application process, and financial aid."

“If the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, let your first step toward higher education be College Night,” said Richard “Chip” Hinton, associate vice president for enrollment at Lycoming College.  “For more than 30 years, this has been the perfect place for students and their families to get their questions answered about entrance requirements, the application process, and financial aid. For students who are serious about finding the college that they will call home, this is the best place to begin their search.”

Students are encouraged to register with StriveFair.com to receive a barcode for the college fair. This free service allows prospective students to quickly share their contact information with schools they’re interested in, giving them more time for conversations at the event.
