Lycoming College’s Institute of Management Studies (IMS) will host a panel discussion featuring three alumni who will share insights on career development, industry trends, and professional growth. Titled "Foundations and Futures: IMS Alumni Career Stories," the event will take place on Thursday, March 20, at 7 p.m. in Trogner Presentation Room in the Krapf Gateway Center.

Open to all Lycoming students, the discussion will be particularly valuable for those studying accounting, business, communications, economics, and entrepreneurship. Panelists will offer perspectives on how careers evolve in the first decade after graduation, providing valuable guidance for students as they prepare for their professional journeys.

Mica Kurtz, Ph.D., associate professor of economics at Lycoming College, will moderate the discussion, which will feature the following alumni:

About IMS
Lycoming College’s Institute for Management Studies (IMS) enriches the academic experience for students majoring or minoring in accounting, business administration, corporate communication, economics, or entrepreneurship through a variety of experiential learning opportunities. These include internships, faculty-led research and professional projects, topical and professional development seminars, and a scholars program. Additionally, the James W. Harding Executive Speaker Series brings industry leaders to campus to discuss contemporary management challenges. Students gain practical experience by applying classroom knowledge through internships, and those studying business, accounting, corporate communication, or economics have the opportunity to participate in an exchange program with the Westminster Business School, part of the University of Westminster system in London.
