2025 Commencement Schedule of Events

Friday, May 9

9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Senior Check-In - Lamade Gymnasium
Seniors may pick up their caps, gowns, hoods, and keys for the residence hall (if applicable). The Business Office will be open to receive payments for remaining bills. Late arrivals may pick up caps and gowns and sign the wooden “25” class numbers at the Registrar’s Office in Long Hall until 4 p.m. on Friday or between 9 and 11 a.m. on Saturday. Late arrivals may pick up room keys in the Office of Public Safety.

12:30 p.m. Practice for Commencement - Fultz Quadrangle
Practice is mandatory, and you must attend unless excused by Dr. Elizabeth Moorhouse or Dr. Todd Preston, Faculty Marshals.
Rain Location: Keiper Recreation Center 

1 to 2:30 p.m. Senior Picnic - Upper Quad
This event is for seniors only; no guests please.
Rain Location: Pennington Lounge, Academic Center

4:30 p.m. Baccalaureate Line-Up for Graduates – Clarke Chapel Basement
Seniors are asked to promptly assemble in the Clarke Chapel basement in graduation gowns without their caps.

5 p.m. Baccalaureate Service - Clarke Chapel
The service has been planned by and implemented for the Class of 2025. No tickets are necessary.

6 p.m. Class of 2025 Reception - Freet Plaza, Krapf Gateway Center
Lycoming College invites members of the Class of 2025, along with their families and friends, to celebrate graduation with faculty, administration, and staff. Refreshments will be served.
Rain Location: The Pellegrino & Clapps Atrium (2nd floor), Krapf Gateway Center

7:30 p.m. Lycoming College Choir Concert - Clarke Chapel

Saturday, May 10

9 to 10:30 Breakfast for Seniors - Dining Hall, Wertz Student Center

11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Senior Housing Check-Out - Rich Hall Patio on Warrior Way
Please check out on the Rich Hall Patio on Warrior Way or at the Office of Public Safety during any other time.

12:30 p.m. Commencement Line-up for Graduates - Indoor track in Keiper Recreation Center
If weather is favorable, Commencement will be held outdoors on the Fultz Quadrangle. Seniors are asked to assemble promptly in Keiper Recreation Center in caps and gowns.
Rain Location: Seniors will assemble in Pennington Lounge, Academic Center

2 p.m. Commencement 2025 - Fultz Quadrangle
The event takes place in an unshaded area of the Fultz Quad; please dress accordingly.
Rain location: Keiper Recreation Center

4 p.m. Reception - Fultz Quadrangle
Rain location: Lamade Gymnasium

4 to 6 p.m. Senior Housing Check-Out - Rich Hall Patio on Warrior Way
Please check-out on the Rich Hall Patio or at the Office of Public Safety during any other time.

10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Senior Housing Check-Out - Rich Hall Patio on Warrior Way
