The interdisciplinary minor in Latin American Studies allows students to pursue an in-depth study of the history, art, literature, and thought of the peoples and cultures of Latin America. Students draw from coursework on these topics plus philosophy, religion, ancient languages, and various art forms. The minor is suitable for students pursuing careers in these areas, or for students interested in studying Latin America beyond the boundaries of specific academic disciplines. The minor requires five courses.
